Hi, my name is Doug and I’m a dung beetle

…a roller dung beetle, to be precise

I love having lots of fun, but most of all I love playing with dung.  I can roll dung all day long, except every now and then I need to stop, take a break and have a sneaky snack.

I currently live in the backyard of Marti’s house in Melbourne. There is an ample supply of dung, courtesy of Marti’s two pet golden retrievers, Harry and Murphy.

Marti kindly let me set up a blog, so I can share  my adventures with you.  I just have to promise to wash my hands before logging onto the computer.
